The Jungle Book comes to life

The Jungle Book comes to life

The stage was beautifully decorated and the characters’ makeup strikingly intricate during St Thomas Aquinas School’s musical stage production, The Jungle Book.

The play started with a musical number by Mowgli – a boy raised by wolves in a jungle. He took the audience on an adventure during the song, Keeper of the Law, declaring that he is the keeper of the (jungle) law.

But the jungle is also the home of Shere Khan, the dangerous man-eating tiger who has vowed to destroy Mowgli.

Thankfully, with the help of his friends – the bear Baloo, the panther Bagheera, and the python Kaa – Mowgli had learnt to survive thanks to them teaching him about “Jungle Law”.

St Thomas wished to thank all of the working team who made the play possible in such an amazing way.
